"In January 2014 we were commissioned to manufacture a specialised Spray chamber.
Our Sheet metal manufacturer recommended Radko to work with us on the design of this unit.
We had the User requirement specification and a basic idea of how to design the spray chamber already, so we arranged a meeting with Jacques Viviers from Radko and started working on the design of our unit.
Jacques patiently listened to our URS and created a concept 3D drawing. We were able to send this to our customer for approval of the concept. Once we had approval Jacques moved onto the next stage of detailed shop drawings. During this process Jacques' knowledge of the sheet metal manufacturing process was invaluable to the success of our project. He continually updated us on the progress and helped us work around unforeseen manufacture problems. We had various hardware suppliers on this project eg. Fans / Variable Speed Drives / temperature controllers / monitoring devises, etc.
Jacques contacted these companies directly to get sizes and models of these items to include in the design.
Once all the parties were happy with the finished design Jacques sent through detailed Solid Works drawings to our sheet metal manufacturer who processed the nested drawings, and 3 weeks later we received our manufactured sheet metal components. Our assembly team got the unit assembled, and Jacques stayed in contact with us during this phase of the project to assist with any questions our assembly team had.
12 weeks after approved drawings were sent for manufacture we delivered the spray Chamber to our client.
Jacques' input made the project a huge success. And we continue to use Radko for sheet metal design and conceptual drawings. Their experience and knowledge of the manufacturing process adds great value to our finished products."
